Enter the Black Dungeon, a NSFW roguelite dungeon crawler where battle is done with cards and paths are explored by the roll of dice. Pick a heroine and fight your way through the stages, overcoming monsters and obstacles in your path. Or be fucked into submission like all the priestesses who came before you.

How to Play:

Tap dice to roll for a new direction when in between rooms.

In battle, select cards, then click again to play them!

And that's about it! Simple tasks, hard mastery. Black Dungeon is light & optimized to run on mobile devices! Just download the android build version if interested.

Gameplay:

Explore your deck and find new items to add to your inventory. With new cards comes new animations. Just beware corrupted tools that use lewd animations.

In combat, select and play cards to use against the opponent on your turn. You can play as many cards as you want on your turn, but be careful of your mana.

In between turns, the ambient winds of mana renew. This is the standing pool of free mana you can use, outside of your own store.


You'll need to end your turn to draw more cards eventually. And, when you do, the enemy gets to do what they want.


That'll be you, eventually.

This has a lot potential but it has some flaws rn like the card text going too fast to read anything (it's really bad when pair with that skeleton) [slow its base speed down and add a option to change the speed back up (like Slay the Spire or Balatro)] and the fact the game doesn't tell you that running out of card's from your deck will slowly kill you instead of reshuffling the deck or the fact i can't look at my full deck because there is no scrollbar anywhere there (i also think the item that gives 1 Max HP is really bad)

There are a bunch of bugs as well but most of them have been reported all ready like the item bugging out or the orc disappearing 

but i did run in to a softlock (or soft crash) when using invigorate at max mana but im unsure if that is what did (i got again when i tabbed back in to the game and played a card i think its waiting for the animation that's stuck)

I also softlocked again when i opened up my deck just as i got in a fight as i could no longer close it

And sometimes you get 2 free mana on turn one i think it has something to with using a 2 cost card when you have 1 free mana

I do like a lot of the ideas here like the dice picking your path and how the mana pool work's it gives you a lot of decisions that you can make in a fight. The Art is also really cool and well put together (im including the animation here) and the cards are mostly balanced

The android version is not working thescree  stays fully black and the words 

layer over each other

add ability to switch new equip with worn already, please.

Ok so my opinion from playing:

1 Replace skeletons with slimes so that the players could see some sex from the start

2 make camera angles more closer to the character

3 make the character poses and walking and other animations more seductive

4 give us the ability to costumize our character and add models to clothes we find

5 double the size of the inventory so we can carry more

My opinion about the game: pretty interesting game. Will follow to what you will do later

just wanted to say i really love the game! i think the premise is great and with some polish it could really shine! 
im actually playing on the patreon build, wanted to say my appreciation and ask a question or two, oh and also point out some bugs.

ive so far encountered a weird bug where the orc enemy is just... invisible sometimes? it's happened twice but seemingly at complete random

an inventory bug that ive seen others mention

and lastly, when reaching the end of an area (where the game would normally tell you you cannot progress and end your run) ive instead had the camera simply pan over to the stop sign and no text appears, softlocking the game.

i did have two asks though, firstly is it possible to unlock the sorceress or the paladin in the current game version? on one of my runs i managed to use the key to free and talk to this woman, but at the end of my run i ran into the aforementioned softlock so id no clue of that was meant to be a character unlock or not :,)

secondly, do you plan to add any "game over" screens? i think they'd fit this game quite nicely!

Oh, hey! I haven't actually gotten any feedback from the Patreon build yet, so this is super welcome. I'll try to address these points in order:

Orc invisibility:
Thanks for pointing this one out. Silly oversight on my part. It had to do with the body of the orc being "shared" across all the other orcs on the level, rather than individual. So one died, turned invisible, and all the others did too. Easy fix.

Inventory bug: Keeps me up at night. I'll hunt that white whale though.

And, agh, sorry about that end-of-content softlock. It must be missing some flag. Normally those reset you, ending the run. And, even worse, you're absolutely right.
Ending the run after having opened that key door would've unlocked the sorceress start. There's not a mountain of content hidden there right now, so I wouldn't stress about trying to do it again. But you would've gotten to start new runs of the game with some different default cards and different starter gear.

Final point: Game-Overs
Uh, yeah. I'm actually pretty receptive to this one. By and large, I tend to prefer making content part of the gameplay. Making people have to lose to discover new scenes (outside of roguelike long-term meta progression I mean) is something I kind of dislike. But maybe some stuff on a per-stage basis would be a good inclusion. Either way, I want to touch up the tutorial & game-over screens a bit.

I didn't play the game yet cause i don't like the art style sadly....

Even tho i love roguelike game and dungeon and seeing a nsfw one is rare the art style make me step back.....

If it was on 2d or a better 3d yeah i would give it a shot but now... i will probably wait until the game got more update and looking better

Otherwise don't overdo it, take break, and make us the best dungeon crawler/ roguelike game ever

Hey! This question actually just came up on the Discord too, so I'll just copy the response from there since it's kind of long (but I think it deserves an answer)

I'd love to. The way it's come together though, probably just going to be minor character edits for the priestess, sorceress, & paladin. It's mostly an issue with how the card-animations work. Having to 1:1 all those to a male protag (to the extent that that's even possible for a lot of the stuff planned)
Theoretically possible. Just, yaknow, a huge & down-the-line-multiplicatively-difficult increase in the workload.
More broadly though, I, don't feel the need to make every game serve everyone? Not that I don't want everyone to have something here. But I'm somewhat of the opinion that, insofar as it makes sense to each game, that it's doing the best it can to appeal to the people it's trying to appeal to. We've got games for people who like sissy male, preg, I've got something in the works for the furries (even got something spooky for Halloween, come October, shhhh...). When I was thinking about the theming I wanted for Black Dungeon, I had my eye mostly on anime/hentai dungeon-exploration tropes.

i really love this game so far! i did run into a bug where i wasn't able to pick up new loot despite having open inventory space. this happened both when i went into the encounter with a full inventory and discarded something to make room, and going into the encounter with open inventory slots already.

if you're looking for any feedback, i think the enemy's card should stick around for a little longer so it's possible to actually read the full effects before it disappears. i also feel like dealing with an arcane barrier is really annoying. it took me well over seven turns once just milling cards to get the arcane ritual so i was allowed to participate in the fight again. the first time i encountered it, i drew the arcane ritual immediately on my next turn and assumed it was just forcing me to spend mana, which seemed like a reasonable mechanic for a card, but just shuffling it somewhere into my deck seems a little cruel.

other than those things, i really really enjoyed this game and i'll definitely be coming back to see how things are shaping up in the future. keep it up!

Hey, thanks for all the great feedback. Much appreciated. 

The skeleton lich is absolutely not balanced. I put it on a really low chance to pop up as something of a secret elite enemy that shows off some experimental mechanics. Even then, I should probably take it out until the whole thing becomes a bit less frustrating. Putting the ritual in hand, rather than in-deck would probably work to that end.


And apologies about the apparent inventory bug. There's ~1-2 bugs that I know about but that have proved difficult to test for in regular play. Mana-pool inconsistency and a rare inventory slot bug are on the list, but I still haven't completely narrowed down yet. I'll get them sooner or later, but they haven't come up in play too often yet. Thanks for highlighting the issue though.

Hey. The android download was a zipped file with the APK in it. For ease of access, I've just added the APK instead. For the size difference, this should be easy enough for people.
